Ms. Hernandez received her Masters of Education degree in 2004 from Belmont University. She received her Bachelor of Arts dual degrees in Environmental Science and Latin American Studies from Scripps College, Clarement, CA in 1999. Ms. Hernandez spent several months travelling and studying in Costa Rica, Australia, Ecuador and Mexico.
