Employers: Warn your employees to beware!

July 30, 2012

There is a new telephonic scam targeting foreign nationals.  The caller, who fraudulently represents himself as a USCIS representative, states that there is a discrepancy in the foreign national’s USCIS record and asks for specific immigration and/or biographical information.  The caller then tells the foreign national that there is a penalty for the discrepancy and asks the individual to send money via Western Union to an address specified by the caller.

Warn your employees not to fall for such scams.   Contact our office immediately if you or your employee receives such a call.
