To no surprise, USCIS reached the H-1B cap by the end of last week. In fact the number of petitions received well-exceeded the 85,000 cap. The government hasn’t been more specific, only to say that it will begin returning unselected petitions and filing fees. We are hopeful the acceptance rate for our clients will surpass the norm, as we’ve experienced in the past. We will keep you informed when we receive your receipt notices, or the unlucky petition with fees.
