FY 2020 H-1B Cap Update
USCIS has completed the data entry for all FY 2020 H-1B cap petitions selected in this year’s lottery. Receipt notices for the selected petitions have been mailed and adjudication is underway. We have already received approval notices! For cases not selected in the lottery, USCIS will return the petitions and filing fees. We will contact our clients when we receive a receipt, approval notice, or the (unfortunate) rejected petition. It is our hope the beneficiaries of the rejected petitions are eligible for a STEM extension or will have an opportunity to be petitioned for in next year’s H-1B lottery.
