USCIS Ramps Up Fees for H-1B and L-1 Dependent Employers

January 19, 2016

On January 12, 2016, USCIS announced an increase in fees for H-1B and L-1 dependent employers, effective immediately. H-1B and L-1 dependent employers are those that have 50 or more workers and more than 50% of those workers are in H-1B or L-1 status. For those employers, there will be an additional fee of $4,000 for H-1B workers and $4,500 for L-1 workers. This is double the previous fees of $2,000 and $2,250, respectively. If you are an employer and unsure whether this fee applies to your company, contact us immediately.
