USCIS to Utilize Filing Dates for Employment-Based Cases in December

November 30, 2018

In December, USCIS will utilize the Employment-Based Dates for Filing chart from the Department of State’s Visa Bulletin instead of the Final Action Dates chart. This allows certain employer-sponsored foreign nationals to apply for adjustment of status earlier than normal. We are reviewing our records and will reach out to any individuals eligible to file their adjustment of status applications in December. You can see the December Visa Bulletin here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2019/visa-bulletin-for-december-2018.html
