Senior Counsel
Elizabeth Patton is Senior Counsel at Rose Immigration Law Firm. Her practice centers on employment-based immigration, with an emphasis on H-1B petitions and PERM labor certification, primarily for clients in the IT and healthcare industries. She also works with most of the firm’s religious worker clients and practices in the areas of family-based and humanitarian cases.
She initially started at the firm as an administrative assistant two days after finishing college. She quickly found her passion in the field, as it combined what she studied with the chance to help people through some of the most stressful periods of their lives. This early work in the field inspired her to go to law school with the intention of practicing immigration law.
Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Latin American Studies from Samford University, where her coursework and her own experiences left her interested in the global, cultural, and personal forces that shape an immigration journey. She went on to Belmont University College of Law, graduating in 2018 in the top ten of her class.
Elizabeth’s competitive nature drives her success in all aspects of her practice, whether she is answering a lengthy Request for Evidence or researching a novel legal question, she works to put forward the strongest possible case and to keep them informed at every stage of it.
That drive extends past work at the firm. Elizabeth devotes significant time to pro bono service, which the Tennessee Supreme Court has recognized for multiple years with its Attorney for Justice designation. She also serves as the AILA MidSouth Chapter’s liaison to the USCIS Nashville Field Office and as Vice Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Immigration Section.
Outside the firm, Elizabeth travels, spends time with her family, and gets outdoors whenever she can, such as a walk around Radnor Lake or her annual hike up Mt. LeConte.
