The Department of Homeland Security has designated Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Effective March 9, 2021, TPS for Venezuelans will be in effect for 18 months ending on September 9, 2022. Eligible nationals of Venezuela may apply for TPS during the 180-day registration period ending on September 5, 2021.
